S4 Scouting has now evolved and become AFCAS - The ASSOCIATION OF FOOTBALL COACHES & SCOUTS. S4 Scouting and now AFCAS provide fully interactive scouting courses and workshops created by experienced Professional Football Scout Ged Searson.
S4 Scouting has been endorsed by a number of Football Associations, and Premier League and Football League Managers, Coaches and a host of Professional Football Scouts.
Our workshops have been designed for anyone with an interest in football scouting, currently working as a football scout or analyst, for football intermediaries and for anyone with a personal interest in football.

OUR FOUNDER - GED SEARSON
Ged Searson has over 28 years of football coaching experience, mentored along the way by among others the legendary Sir Bobby Robson, and over 13 years experience as a scout in professional football to deliver Scouting Workshops and Courses of the highest level. An experienced Scout who has worked at the highest level of International football and in the English Premier League. Experience at International Tournament Level as the Chief Scout of the successful Malawi National team at the 2022 AFRICAN CUP OF NATIONS with the Country progressing to the knockout stages for the first-time in their football history. A former First Team Domestic and European scout of Premier League Club West Ham United and Chief Scout of two Football League clubs, Ged passes on his vast knowledge to his attendees through his fully interactive Scouting Workshops and Courses.

Our S4 – e-learning - Interactive Scouting Course is the perfect way to start your scouting journey and will teach you the scouting techniques required to assess a player’s performance. On completion of this course you will have acquired the knowledge and the tools to create your first scout reports at live matches.

Professional Football - Recruitment and Player Scouting Workshop - Level 1
Workshop for anyone looking to get into scouting, currently scouting, for coaches and also for football Intermediaries.
This workshop teaches observation techniques and explains how to assess and grade player performance with a structure.
With the use of video examples and video tasks attendees will get the chance to create scouting reports on a number of players in different playing positions.
How recruitment departments are created and used at the highest level will be explained and detailed examples are shown.
